Roman Reigns has been off WWE screens since October 22nd last year when he publicly announced that he was battling leukemia, something which he has been fighting for over a decade.
However, Vince McMahon has announced that Roman will appear on Monday Night Raw this coming week to address his Leukemia diagnosis. There is no word yet about whether this appearance is going to be live or taped.
Reigns has been relatively active in the past few months, having filmed for the upcoming Fast and Furious spinoff entitle Hobbs and Shaw where he is playing the brother of his real cousin Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. He has also recently filmed an appearance on an upcoming Nickelodeon kids show.
Fightful.com is reporting that a source has revealed to them that all three members of the shield are expected in some manner at Fastlane but no further details have been provided.
The 2019 WWE Hall of Fame is getting ever-closer and there has yet to be any confirmed inductees into the 2019 class in just 47 days.
However, this may be about change tonight on Monday Night Raw where it is expected that the first inductees into the Hall of Fame will be announced, and it is likely that the first to be announced will be the legendary group D-Generation X, however WWE has yet to confirm this yet.
An advert was leaked last night in certain TV markets following Elimination Chamber, but WWE is yet to confirm the validity. See the video below courtesy of @Red_Carousell on Twitter:
This advertisement includes the induction of all members of the larger DX stable Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, Billy Gunn, X-Pac and Billy Gunn.
Two notable things about this supposed induction – firstly, there has been huge amounts of controversy surrounding the induction of Joanie “Chyna” Laurer after Triple H made some somewhat insensitive comments regarding Chyna on the Stone Cold podcast some years ago. At that time he stated that Chyna can’t go into the Hall of Fame due to her pornography background and that they cannot risk children googling her. A comment met by staunch criticism of hypocrisy at the time.
Chyna spent the last years of her life trying to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame but sadly passed away in 2016 before this could happen.
There is also a further question to be asked around Billy Gunn as the former member of DX ad the New Age Outlaws is currently employed as a producer for new promotion All Elite Wrestling.
We will see if this rumour comes to fruition tonight on Monday Night Raw.
WWE Superstar, and one half of tag team The Usos’s, Jimmy Uso was arrested earlier today in downtown detroit.
This story was broken earlier this evening by TMZ who reported that Jimmy’s wife Naomi was seen driving the wrong way down a one way street and the pair were pulled over by the police.
Their Dodge Journey reportedly “reeked of booze” and as a result Naomi was ordered out of the car to talk to the police officers. Jimmy reportedly got out of the car and despite being warned against it got in the police officers face, taking his shirt off in the process.
The police officer removed his taser at the roadside as he feared for his safety but did NOT discharge it.
Jimmy is said to have calmed down and was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction and was taken to a detroit jail where he later posted bond.
WWE released a statement which simply read: “Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions”
Sasha Banks has been unable to compete for a few weeks and as such has been noticeably absent from large amounts of in-ring action over the past few weeks.
However, WWE confirmed today that Sasha had “re-aggravated” a shoulder injury but has been re-evaluated and has been cleared to compete this Sunday at Elimination Chamber for the first ever Women’s Tag Titles.
The Wrestling Observer has been reporting over the past couple of weeks that Sasha appeared to have only a partial clearance to compete but no explanation had been given – whether the shoulder was the legitimate injury is not known.
Sahs tweeted out the following today:
Sasha is scheduled to enter the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday against the teams of Nia Jax & Tamina, The IIconics, Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan, Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose and Naomi & Carmella where the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Champions will be crowned.

All Elite Wrestling has their first show coming live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 25th and hype has been building around it since the signing of Kenny Omega was officially announced last week.
Now it is being reported, per WrestleTalk that AEW have a working plan in place for their future events over the next 10 months of 2019, with that coveted TV deal coming ever closer into existence.
WrestleTalk have provided the following information regarding AEW’s reported future event plans:
“However, having spoken to a source very close to AEW, we can exclusively reveal that the current planned schedule is the following:
May 25 – Double Or Nothing at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas June 2019 – Unspecified show (believed to be in USA) July 2019 – Unnamed show in Jacksonville, Florida with a portion of the proceeds going to anti-gun crime charities August 2019 – Royal Albert Hall, London, England September 2019 – All Out – the official sequel to All In and the full launch of the brand prior to TV tapings beginning. We understand that while not yet confirmed, this is again likely to take place at the Sears Center in Chicago October 2019 – Weekly television starts”
If this is correct it appears that AEW has got a plan in place to stay relevant with live shows every month leading up to their TV launch date which is here being said to be sometime in October.
Also of note is the international event being held in the United Kingdom in London’s Royal Albert Hall – a venue also used by NXT for their UK tapings in 2018.
Of course, this is not confirmed by AEW as of yet and we will have more for you should this develop any further.
All Elite Wrestling are holding their Double or Nothing ticket release party tonight from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Lots of news came out of the Pool Party but perhaps the biggest news was that Kenny Omega, the long-rumoured member of AEW, has finally joined the All Elite roster.
The man who many believe to be the best wrestler in the world today has been the missing link in the AEW picture for the last few months due to contractual reasons.
Omega said that he did not wish to have everyone wait so long but legalities stopped him announcing sooner. This is as a result of his contract with New Japan Wrestling which expired on February 1st 2019. He said he put his name on his AEW contract just this morning.
While Omega was talking Chris Jericho interrupted and a brawl occurred. Leading to what we presume will be a match at the Double or Nothing event, although nothing is confirmed as of yet.
The Cleaner said he was here to change the world, and that in AEW he finally gets to really show it with the rest of The Elite.
